Founded in 1996, Lojacorr is a hub that connects independent insurance brokers and insurers across various sectors through a digital platform, providing access to a wide portfolio of insurance products and solutions. Today, it is the largest network of independent insurance brokers in Brazil.
After successfully completing a previous project, Lojacorr once again chose Ateliware for a new challenge: optimizing the network’s fiscal operations by relocating its fiscal headquarters from Curitiba to São José dos Pinhais (SJP) to take advantage of local tax benefits.
This move aimed to improve the payment process for brokers by leveraging incentives and a more modern tax structure, resulting in greater savings for the network. However, it required overcoming several obstacles.
We started a Discovery process to identify which manual processes and activities within Lojacorr could be automated.
After mapping and understanding the network’s business rules, we defined the application scope, setting objectives and technical requirements to cover the entire end-to-end operation.
Next, during the Product Concept phase, we designed the screens and user flows to identify the steps with the greatest optimization potential.
After gathering the full project scope, the first approach considered was using a low-code platform to develop RPAs (Robotic Process Automation) and automate all application workflows.
Ateliware then decided to build the entire bot architecture from scratch, creating a robust, cost-effective, and highly available integration with Lojacorr’s system—ensuring seamless reconciliation without failures.
Working side by side with Lojacorr’s internal IT team, we started with a Proof of Concept (PoC) to automate the brokerage process with a single insurance provider. Once the concept proved successful, the RPA solution was expanded to include all of Lojacorr’s partner insurers.
As a result, the entire insurance tracking process was automated. Now, policyholders can access all their contracts in a single, centralized portal.
Meanwhile, brokers can take advantage of multiple solutions, from instantly comparing quotes across all partner insurers to optimizing post-sales follow-ups. They no longer need constant client contact for tasks like contract renewals and payment delays.
