Founded in 1918, Votorantim has become one of the largest companies in Brazil, with a portfolio spanning 19 countries.
Votorantim’s Loss Prevention department at the Center of Excellence was already using an off-the-shelf solution for internal processes. However, they encountered challenges that couldn’t be solved with customizations alone.
It was in this context that they chose us to develop customized software that would fully meet their internal control and monitoring needs.
Thus was born Sykn, a platform that uses Artificial Intelligence to monitor all Votorantim Group companies in real-time, issuing instant alerts about suspicious fraud operations.

With Sykn, all company activities are now monitored online, 24 hours a day. The software uses intelligent algorithms that apply business rules and specific parameters to automatically identify potential loss scenarios. When a combination of transactions violates any of the rules – defined in a personalized way by Votorantim itself – the system issues alerts or preventive blocks before the operation is finalized, significantly increasing the security and reliability of processes.
The tool was initially implemented and tested within the Votorantim group companies, demonstrating significant results by preventing losses in the millions within a short period of time.

After 4 years of continuous development, both the back-end and front-end languages remained up-to-date, reflecting the most modern and effective practices in technology.
